QSI provides both traditional boxed software and custom applications with bespoke modifications, tailored to each customer's needs. The support requirements for each type of customer differs slightly:

  • Users of our traditional boxed software — usually WinLims Rental customers — all use the same core software. Upgrades, fixes, FAQs and other information pertaining to this "Out the box" software will potentially be of benefit to all our customers.
  • Bespoke customers use a version of our software that has been specifically tailored to suit their individual requirements. Upgrades, fixes and information for one customer is not generally transferable to other bespoke customers.


The support options available differ slightly depending on which of these two types of software you are using. Please refer to the appropriate section below.


For Rental and other "Out the box" Customers

  • We offer a dedicated website at http://www.qsi-rental.com which carries FAQs and useful information
  • We will soon be launching a forum to enable users of our software to communicate and help each other in order to avoid using support tickets for minor issues
  • We offer an issue management system which is configured such that anyone can create a user account to report bugs or make feature requests
  • Email support is available via support@qsiuk.com
  • On-site training is available as an option. Please contact us for details

Important Note: Most rental and "out the box" installations are provided with a fixed number of support tickets included in the price. If you are an end-user of our software, please refer the issue to your system administrator or LIMS manager prior to making a support request in order to avoid using support tickets unnecessarily.


For Bespoke Customers

To protect our customers' confidentiality, the issue management system does not allow users to sign themselves up. If you need an account then please refer first to your system administrator or LIMS manager who should then submit a request via email to support@qsiuk.com
