Forrester Report - A Testimonial To QSI's Support Services
Quality Systems International, is highly rated by users in the 2005 LIMS Watch report. With the highest scores of all LIMS companies in the key areas of support, responsiveness and customer awareness, QSI also achieves, by a significant margin, the highest average score overall. The report is produced jointly by TrendWatch and Scientific Computing Magazine, and is based on an international user survey conducted by Forrester Research, an independent research organisation.
Particularly notable were users' views of customer support. Asked if they were satisfied with the level of support received, only QSI's customers exceeded a 90% positive response. Over 40% of QSI users expect a response to an e-mail support query in under an hour - more than twice the rating of the nearest competitor. QSI was the only company to achieve a straight 100% approval rating in any category - when users were asked about the level of product knowledge displayed by support personnel.
MicroCheck Technical Services Ltd - Erik Thompson
"Introducing a new LIMS, particularly when it is destined to replace an entirely paper based system, is no mean feat. It can be a complex and daunting procedure, involving much forethought as to what the system will be required to achieve as well as the expert knowledge of how the individual laboratory’s requirements can be met with the use of an entirely new tool.
The potential benefits of increased productivity and efficiency, reduced costs and the streamlining of processes however, must make the implementation of an effective and user-friendly LIMS a top priority for any laboratory.
With so many potential pitfalls involved in the introduction of any new system to a business, it is vital that the client has confidence in their supplier, and the knowledge that they will not be ‘left in the lurch’ at any point throughout the process, particularly when specialist knowledge is required - unlikely to be held by staff who have not trained extensively in IT.
QSI’s provision of exemplary customer service bears testament to the confidence they have in their product. I have found that they will always give detailed and thorough consideration to any questions or requests for information on how the individual laboratory’s aims can be achieved through the use of their software. Again this clearly demonstrates the flexibility and range of available functionalities that QSI have worked into WinLIMS. I have personally found that any queries I have put forward to the QSI support team have always been dealt with in a timely manner and I have never been let down by their endeavour to fully satisfy the customer. If I had to do it all again I would certainly stick with QSI’s WinLIMS! Finally, I would also like to extend a special thanks to Geoff Bishop who has always gone out of his way to help with our WinLIMS implementation."

QTS Analytical Ltd - Steve Gardner
“As a small but growing business the need for a LIMS system increases with both time and sample volume. The cost associated with such software systems is often completely prohibitive to smaller laboratories. Combine the high initial outlay cost with the demands on staff time to assist in customisation and you have a real problem on your hands when considering a new LIMS.
In searching for a solution to our rapidly growing need for a LIMS I was pleasantly surprised by the new concept offered by QSI, that of a rental LIMS. It offered a cost effective means of obtaining a LIMS system that was capable of meeting our exacting requirements and also offered a wide range of additional capabilities that we would be able to grow into.
Software rental for such systems was something that I had never heard of, by spending a lot less on the actual LIMS system we have been able to obtain a valuable tool which benefits both us and our customers as well as saving money for other purchases.”

Huntsman Tioxide - Steve Ashdown
"Huntsman's Pigments Division uses WinLIMS to manage worklflow, reporting and invoicing in the Analytical labs based at their headquarters in Billingham. The system has been up and running for 5 years and in that time has proved to be very stable and low maintenance.
It is popular with the users who appreciate the straightforward user-friendly screens, and the accessibility of results and other data. All in all, it is simple and easy to use, whilst packing plenty of functionality. It has flexibility which allows us to adapt it to suit the users needs, and it is extremely reliable.
The odd minor issue that arises is resolved swiftly and effectively by the excellent QSI support staff. I appreciate greatly their quick response, whether it be to a system problem or a question related to functionality. But what really impresses is the sound advice I get in response to questions about improving the application of the system within our labs. I really feel they understand what we are doing here, and what could work/won't work in terms of the LIMS."

Tegel Foods Limited - Dennis Karl
"Our company invested in WinLIMS after a comprehensive evaluation process to ensure it met company software compatibility and performance requirements. It also needed to comply with ISO standards, and supplier support was essential."
With one serology, one chemistry and three microbiology laboratories using WinLIMS it would be fair to say that, since installation, it has revolutionised the way the company uses the laboratory data, often in ways unforeseen by the users, due simply to the easy and immediate accessibility via automated reporting and data mining systems."
